She Inspires Me
Changing the Workplace Experiences of Women at Work
Influencing systems. Shaping workplace culture. Creating safer, healthier, and more inclusive workplaces for women.
Women continue to experience workplace risks, barriers, and challenges that can significantly impact their safety, health, wellbeing, career progression, and participation at work. These are not isolated incidents - they are indicators of workplace systems, cultures and practices that require meaningful change. Through the Women at Work initiatives, She Inspires Me is leading a national movement to influence change across government, business and Australian workplaces. By bringing together leaders, organisations and decision-makers, we advocate for practical, evidence-informed solutions that strengthen workplace culture, improve psychological safety and create healthier, safer and more inclusive workplaces for women. Because changing the experience of women at work requires more than awareness. It requires leadership, collaboration, and action.
Woman at Work
Changing systems. Influencing workplaces. Improving the experiences of women at work

These are not isolated workplace challenges - they are systemic issues that require leadership, collaboration and action.

Changing Women’s Experiences at Work Requires All of Us
Creating safer, healthier and more respectful workplaces requires shared responsibility.
Government has a role
Business has a role
Leaders have a role
Every workplace has a responsibility to understand, prevent, and address the workplace risks and systemic issues affecting women.
The question is not whether women’s experiences at work need to change. The question is what we are prepared to do to change them
